A brilliant scarlet cardinal perches on a snow-dusted wooden fence post, his proud crest raised and his bold black mask vivid against layers of rich red and deep crimson feathers. Holly branches heavy with red berries and pale birch trunks frame the scene, while scattered berry sprigs add little bursts of scarlet against the white snow drifts. This design is an absolute joy to piece together, with its satisfying contrast of the cardinal's fiery reds against the cool blues and whites of the winter background, making every fabric choice feel like a small celebration.
