Rainbow Dog

About this pattern

This joyful Rainbow Retriever portrait bursts with the full spectrum of colour, its flowing fur rendered in bold interlocking petals and sweeping curves of red, cobalt blue, golden yellow, vivid orange, teal, and purple against a crisp white background. The dog's warm cream muzzle and expressive brown eyes anchor the design with irresistible charm, while a happy pink tongue peeks out to complete the friendliest face in folk-art quilting. This is a design that brings pure delight to the cutting mat, inviting quilters to dive into their brightest scraps and watch a cheerful, larger-than-life companion come together piece by vivid piece.

Every pattern in this shop is my own work, from the first line to the last page. I draw each design by hand as an original vector illustration in Adobe Illustrator, then develop it into a ready-to-sew applique pattern - every cutting line, every fabric colour, every template page and instruction. Each one takes time and a lot of care, and I hope that comes through when you stitch it.
